About Us

Becoming a balloon artist happened by accident, as did the name Airagarmi. A credit manager for 25years with a local business, a client suggested I “do” balloons for Lotto. A training course and subsequent trip to Australia to assist with the Melbourne Cup balloons clinched the deal. In the first week of setting up (November 2006) a business colleague joked it looked like folding air when joining balloons together to create a decoration. Origami – Airagarmi!
